About This Call
Novum Artis is a bi-monthly boutique-quality publication dedicated to helping new and emerging artists get their art exposed to the world. The magazine is distributed to art curators, collectors, consultants, and interior designers worldwide. Each issue features a juried selection of artists who receive a two-page gatefold presentation including their headshot, biography, artist statement (if submitted), social media/contact information, and up to 3 of their submitted artworks. All art is published in full color.
Submission to this call is free. Selected artists will be asked to pay a US$150 inclusion fee for publication. Artists may submit 1 to 20 artworks for consideration. For each artwork, provide the title, medium, technique(s) used, year of creation, description, and size. Include pricing if the work is for sale. All submitted art must be original work created without instructor supervision, and you must own the rights. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred. High-resolution print quality images are preferred; if selected work is not high enough resolution for print (maximum 2400x3000 at 300dpi), you may be asked to provide a higher resolution file. Photos should show only the artwork itself, with no frames, easels, or other objects.
Eligibility is open to any artist, professional or amateur, worldwide. Consistency of quality is a major factor for consideration. Subject matter and theme are open. Two- or three-dimensional work in any medium may be submitted, provided it can be clearly photographed. Artwork containing violence, hatred directed toward any group of people, pornography, or inappropriate/offensive content will not be accepted. All artists will be notified of the jury's decision via email within 7 business days after the submission deadline. Novum Artis is distributed electronically, with print copies available on-demand from the website.
