About This Call
ShockBoxx Gallery, a cutting edge gallery in Hermosa Beach, is seeking artists for an upcoming group exhibition at the beginning of May 2020. This is an open call to all themes, mediums, and artists from all locations. Submit your best artwork to this juried competition and group show.
Entry fee is $25 for a single entry of one image, or up to eight images at $5 per additional image. Video and audio uploads are also available. Work samples may include 1-8 images, 0-5 audio files, and 0-5 video files. Artworks will be judged based on creativity, originality, quality of work, composition, and overall artistic ability.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three pieces selected by jury. Winners will receive a cash prize, award certificate, and featured wall space in the exhibition. Competition winners will be announced early April via email. The exhibition will be featured on Artsy, and winners will be published on the PMS Artwork Past Competition Winners site. If selected for the gallery exhibition, details for sending/delivering work will be provided via email. Jurors include Kymm Swank, Sarah Svetlana, Preston M. Smith, Scott Meskill, and Mike Collins.
