About This Call
Not! An Art Fair is an open call to all themes, mediums, and artists from all locations. ShockBoxx Gallery in Hermosa Beach is seeking working artists to feature in an upcoming group exhibition in mid-June 2021. The top artist submissions will win cash prizes and award certificates, as well as featured wall space in the exhibition.
Artworks will be judged based on creativity, originality, quality of work, composition, and overall artistic ability. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three pieces selected by jury. Competition winners will be announced mid to late May via email. The exhibition will be featured on Artsy, and winners will be published on the PMS Artwork Past Competition Winners site for reference on resumes and future submissions.
Entry fee is $25 for a single entry of one image, or up to eight images at $5 per additional image. Video and audio uploads are also available. Submissions must include a minimum of 1 work sample and a maximum of 8 total samples (images, audio, or video combined). If selected for the gallery exhibition, details for sending or delivering work will be provided via email.
