About This Call
The North Texas Arts Festival is held at the Historic Katy Depot (101 E Main St, Denison, TX) on the first and second floors of the Rotunda. The festival runs May 16-17, 2026, with visitors able to visit booths Saturday from 10am-5pm and Sunday from 10am-3pm. The festival is in its fourth year and is sponsored by the Denison Arts Council with support from an Art Tourism grant. Expected attendance is 3,000-5,000 visitors.
Booth spaces are available at varying prices depending on size and location: 10'x10' first floor ($175), 7'x12' first floor table display ($150), 10'x10' second floor ($115), 7'x10' second floor ($100), 7'x16' second floor ($115), and outdoor spaces ($100 for Saturday only or $150 for both days). Load-in is Friday, May 15 from 3:00-7:00pm or Saturday, May 16 from 7:30am-9:30am. Free vendor parking is available nearby.
Only original art is accepted in the following categories: 2-D Mixed Media, 3-D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Digital Art, Drawing & Printmaking, Fiber, Glass, Handcraft, Jewelry, Metal, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Wood & Furniture, and Other. Prohibited items include t-shirts and commercial clothing, posters, manufactured toys, commercially manufactured or reproduced items for resale, jewelry made from more than 50% manufactured components, and items using commercially available molds or patterns. Artists must be present during the show (booth sitters available on request). Artwork must be displayed professionally and be representative of submitted application images. Load-in assistance may be available as resources allow. On-site security is provided, with the facility locked from 10pm-7am Friday and Saturday nights. Artists are responsible for collecting and reporting all relevant sales tax. Application fee is $10.00 jury fee. Up to 3 applications may be submitted per artist.
