About This Call
North Star Gala Art Auction 2025 is the 3rd Annual online and live art auction hosted by Sebastopol Center for the Arts. The online auction runs September 5-30, 2025, with a live gala and auction event on September 27th, 2025. Over 150 guests from Sonoma County, the San Francisco Bay Area, and beyond attend this annual event.
Participants' artwork will be auctioned online from September 5-30, with a select number of pieces featured in a gallery setting and auctioned live during the gala. Artists will receive up to 40% of the final sale price of their work. All mediums are welcome except AI-generated works and giclées. Artwork must not exceed 7' x 7' in dimensions and must not have been previously shown in the SebArts Gallery. Maximum of 3 pieces per artist. Entry is free. Work samples should include 1-3 images in JPEG format, 5MB or less.
Shipped artwork must arrive by September 15, 2025. Hand-delivered artwork can be dropped off Monday, September 15th (10am-2pm) or Tuesday, September 16th (10am-2pm). Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and must include prepaid return shipping labels. Unsold work will be shipped within 15 days after the auction closes. Selected artists agree to allow their work to be photographed for media, educational, and publicity purposes. Artists will be notified of acceptance by August 29, 2025.
