North River Arts Society Festival Poster Competition

North River Arts Society is accepting submissions for their Festival poster competition. Artists may submit up to 5 pieces, with up to 2 selected for exhibit in the GAR Hall and on the NRAS website.

Eligibility requirements: Artwork must be originally conceived and drawn by the artist and not be a copy or likeness of another's work. Members whose artwork appeared on posters from 2015-2021 are ineligible; those with work on posters prior to 2015 may apply. Artwork completed in a classroom or workshop is ineligible, and work must not have been previously exhibited in a North River Arts Society exhibition. Artwork including frame must not exceed 44" in width or height.

Submissions must be high-quality JPEG files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should be cropped to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background. Hand delivery of accepted artwork is required on Thursday, March 2 (5-7pm) or Saturday, March 4 (10am-12noon). Shipping information will be provided to accepted artists for work arriving before hand delivery dates. North River Arts Society reserves the right to reproduce and publish artwork chosen for the Festival poster. Ownership of submitted artwork remains with the artist.
