About This Call

North Carolina Life at The Mayton is a curated exhibition for the second and third floors of The Mayton. Artists are invited to submit work themed around enchanting landscapes, windswept seascapes, and people enjoying life in North Carolina.

Each artist may submit up to 4 works for a $15 entry fee. Work must be original, able to hang on a wall, and available for sale. Accepted mediums include painting, photography, modified photography, collage, mixed media, textile, ceramic, pencil, ink, wood relief, and digitally-generated artwork. AI-generated work is permitted if the subject is original and complies with content guidelines. All work must be sized between 10" x 10" (minimum) and 40" x 40" (maximum) without frame. Works sold during the exhibition will be replaced with artwork from the waitlist.
