Non-Juried Summer Exhibition

This exhibition is open to Salmagundi artist members only. Artists may submit one work in any medium that has not been previously shown at Salmagundi. All mediums are welcome.

Artwork Requirements: Outside dimensions of frames may not exceed 36 inches. Sculptures should be no more than 30 inches high and no more than 40 pounds. All works must be professionally framed with wire for hanging, or if framing is not applicable, must be professionally presentable for gallery display with appropriate mounting. Submit high-quality JPEG images at least 1900 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images must show only the artwork itself without matting, frames, or background distractions, and must be oriented correctly. Only work not previously shown at Salmagundi will be accepted. Submissions not adhering to exhibition requirements will be omitted.

Delivery and Sales: If accepted, artists may deliver work in-person during receiving days or ship with an expected arrival date one week before the exhibition opens. Works being shipped must be sent in reusable shipping boxes for art with the exhibition name on the outside. Artists must include a return shipping label if the work is to be shipped back after the exhibition. Hangtags must be printed, filled out legibly, and attached to each artwork before delivery. If work is not for sale, write "NFS" on the hangtag. The club receives 30% of all sales; 70% goes to the artist. Artists will be notified by Salmagundi's administrative staff when a sale is made. Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted by the entry deadline. Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline.
