NOIR

Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to an online exhibition titled NOIR. The theme explores the mysterious allure of noir aesthetics, defined by moody and atmospheric visuals characterized by deep shadows and high drama, evoking tension, ambiguity, and emotional intensity.

Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 total submissions. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. For 3D work, additional detail shots do not require additional entry fees; send these by email to [email protected]. JPEGs are due by Friday, November 10, 2023 at midnight MST. Notification of acceptance and online gallery opening will occur by Friday, December 8, 2023.

All accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Awards include Best of Show ($750) and two Director's Choice awards ($250 each). The exhibition is curated and juried by Creative Director Amy Matteson Neill along with an anonymous committee of jurors. Work must be original and not copied or done under instructor guidance. All fine art mediums are accepted (oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, ceramics, film/video, digital art), except AI-generated work. Diptychs and triptychs should be uploaded as a single image. This call is open to amateur and professional artists worldwide; work previously selected for Art Fluent exhibits is not eligible. Artists receive 100% of sales. A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to arts organizations and artist support initiatives.
