#nofilter is a juried visual art exhibition featuring artworks that are uninhibited and unfiltered where artists feel completely free to speak their minds via visual artistic expressions. All explorations of this theme are invited. Artworks in all media, techniques and styles are encouraged. Open to artists 21 years of age and older living in the St. Louis, Missouri region and surrounding 200-mile radius.

Jurors are Sarah Hermes Griesbach, Executive Editor and Co-Founder of All The Art, the Visual Art Quarterly of St. Louis, and MK Stallings, an educator, art administrator, poet, and founder of UrbArts, a nonprofit organization in St. Louis' Old North neighborhood. Awards of Excellence will be selected by the Jurors and include one $250 Best of Show Award of Excellence and four non-cash Awards of Excellence. All five Award recipients will be eligible for the "Honor Awards 2018" ten-artist curated exhibit presented at Art Saint Louis, June 16-July 19, 2018, curated by artist Brian D. Smith, Professor at St. Charles Community College.

The exhibition will be held at Art Saint Louis Gallery, 1223 Pine Street in downtown St. Louis, MO, from April 15-June 1, 2017, with a free reception on Saturday, April 15, 6-8 p.m. Entry fee is $35.00 for non-members and $20.00 for ASL members. Submissions must include 1-6 images and 0-3 videos (maximum 3 artworks total). Artwork must be completed between 2014-2017 and not previously exhibited in any juried exhibit in the St. Louis region during the 6 months prior to exhibit dates or in any exhibit at Art Saint Louis Gallery. Size limits: final installation size on all 2-d and wall-displayed work not to exceed 6' wide or 7' high, including frame. All artworks must either have a sale price or be marked Not for Sale with an insurance value. All sales are through Art Saint Louis with 30% commission to the gallery and 70% to the artist. Artworks are insured at 50% of retail value during the exhibit.
