NOEL 2022 - Exhibition and Publication

Gallerium presents NOEL 2022, a dual exhibition and publication opportunity inviting visual artists worldwide to submit artworks interpreting Christmas and the holiday season. Artists working in any medium are encouraged to submit interpretations of Christmas traditions, decorations, family gatherings, gift exchange, or conceptual subjects such as forgiveness, generosity, and grace.

Selected artworks will be showcased in the NOEL 2022 international online exhibition from December 10-31, 2022, and published in The Book of Arts: NOEL. The online version of the publication will be available free, while high-quality print editions can be ordered through print-on-demand services. The book will be promoted and distributed internationally to thousands of readers including experts, galleries, curators, and art enthusiasts.

Artists can submit up to 5 original artworks in 2D or 3D media, including painting, drawing, illustration, printmaking, photography, digital art, fiber art, sculpture, and mixed media. All styles and artwork creation years are accepted, though artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred. Submission is free; selected artists pay a USD 40 selection fee. Awards include cash prizes totaling USD 1,000 (First Prize: USD 500, Second Prize: USD 300, Third Prize: USD 200), publication in The Book of Arts: NOEL, a digital certificate, an artist profile page on the Biafarin platform, exhibition analytics reports, and social media promotional badges. Selected Biafarin Platinum members receive free artwork shipment for sales.
