Nocturne: Photographs After Dark

Photo Artfolio invites photographers worldwide to submit their work to an online exhibit, "Nocturne: Photographs After Dark." Nightfall transforms the world, casting it in shadows, mystery, and intrigue. This exhibit celebrates the unique beauty and atmosphere that emerges when the sun sets and the stars appear. The call seeks images that capture the essence of the night—whether it's the quiet solitude of moonlit landscapes, the glowing vibrance of urban nightlife, or the hidden wonders of nature revealed under darkness. All forms and categories of photography are welcome, including landscape, urban and street photography, portraiture, abstract and conceptual imagery, and documentary work, with the exception of AI-generated work.

All images must be submitted by Monday, December 16th, 2024 at midnight MST. Photographers will receive notification of acceptance by Tuesday, January 7th, 2025 when the online exhibit opens. All accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.photo-artfolio.com. The top three winners will receive awards: 1st place $500, 2nd place $300, and 3rd place $100.

Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $5 for each additional image. Photographers may enter up to 20 images in total. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. All images must be in JPEG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. All sales inquiries will be directed to the photographer's website and photographers receive 100% of the sale of their work. This call is open to photographers worldwide, both amateur and professional.
