Nocturne

Nocturne is an open exhibition at Crooked Tree Arts Center for 2-D artwork in any medium including paintings, drawings, pastels, quilts, silk screens, etchings, photography, stained glasswork, and multimedia work. There is no entry fee.

Eligibility is open to all Michigan artists and members of the Crooked Tree Arts Center who are 18 years or older. Each artist may submit a maximum of 4 images for review. All work must be original and not previously exhibited at Crooked Tree Arts Center. Entries are accepted online at www.crookedtree.org from July 1 through October 30, 2012. Artists will receive email notification of acceptance by December 1, 2012.

Accepted work must be delivered January 5 or January 7-9, 2013 between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The exhibition opens Saturday, January 19, 2013 and runs through April 5, 2013. Work must remain on display until the close of the show. Pickup is available April 6 or April 8-12, 2013 between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Work not picked up by June 30, 2013 becomes property of Crooked Tree Arts Center. Works to be hung on walls must be properly framed, wired, and ready for hanging. Artists are responsible for delivery and pickup of their work. For sales, Crooked Tree Arts Center retains 40% and the artist receives 60%. Crooked Tree Arts Center retains permission to reproduce artwork for catalog and advertising purposes. All reasonable care will be taken with artwork, but CTAC is not responsible for loss or damage; separate insurance is recommended.
