Nocturnal

The Imago Foundation for the Arts (IFA) invites submissions for artwork for an upcoming regional exhibition titled Nocturnal. This juried exhibition seeks work that demonstrates a thoughtful engagement with the concept of things nocturnal. Artists are encouraged to interpret Nocturnal expansively. Submissions may engage with night literally or symbolically—through landscapes, interiors, figures, dreams, rituals, city life, natural cycles, or inner psychological states. Selected artists will have their work exhibited alongside IFA's stable of exhibiting artists, offering a unique opportunity to engage with a broader artistic community and audience. The exhibition will open with a complimentary reception on Saturday, June 20, 2026 providing an opportunity for the public to meet the selected artists and engage with their interpretations of the nocturnal theme.
