No Boundaries 2026

The Virginia Quilt Museum presents No Boundaries 2026, an international exhibition open to fiber artists worldwide. Awards will be selected by the juror with cash prizes for first, second, and third place. The first place (Best in Show) artist will be given an opportunity to work with the Museum Exhibition Committee and Curator to be considered for a solo exhibition. Honorable mentions will be awarded at the discretion of the juror.

All entries must be a minimum of 25% fiber or fiber techniques with no minimum size requirement. Maximum size is 66" by 66" for wall-hung work with a 3" depth. Three-dimensional work may be submitted with length-by-width-by-height not exceeding 120 inches total. Wall-hung pieces must arrive show ready with hanging apparatus attached and maximum weight for any work is 45 pounds. Artists may submit up to three works with entry fees of $35 for VQM members and $45 for non-members.

Selected artwork must be available from March 19 - June 27, 2026. Artists will be notified of selection via email on February 18, 2026. The museum insures accepted work at 60% of retail price while in its possession. For artwork sales, artists receive 60% of the sale price with the museum collecting a 40% commission. The exhibition runs from March 31 - June 27, 2026, with an awards reception on April 4, 2026.
