About This Call
NFT Now is an exhibition drawn from submissions referencing Expressionism or any art-historical period that inspires you. The show will open May 5 during Frieze Week and will be presented on Techspressionism.com using the Kunstmatrix VR Platform. This show requires previous knowledge of NFTs. No technical support is provided.
Submitting artists must have already minted some NFTs. References should be revealed by the work's aesthetic, but do not have to be explicit; they can be conceptual, spiritual, or otherwise related. Submit up to 5 images per entry. Entries can be anything mintable as an NFT. If your work is time-based, a still image is required in addition to a viewing link.
The juror is digital mixed-media artist Anne Spalter, an academic pioneer who founded the original digital fine arts programs at Brown University and The Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in the 1990s. She is noted for her large-scale installations and more recently AI and NFT art. Entry fee is $15.00 with a $5.00 media fee. International artists are eligible.
