About This Call
Nexus Artspace, in collaboration with i.e. artprojects Online Art Foundation, invites artists to a 2-month international virtual residency exploring collective memory and shared narratives. The program focuses on how personal and cultural memories are formed, transformed, and reimagined across time, migration, and lived experience.
Through weekly group meetings and one private mentoring session, artists develop their projects from process to presentation. Participants are introduced to the Spatial platform, where they learn to create virtual environments and present their work in immersive formats. The residency concludes with a curated virtual group exhibition in the Nexus Artspace Metaverse Gallery.
Event dates: March 9, 2026 - May 1, 2026. Application is free. A participation fee of $330 applies if selected. To apply, submit 5–10 artworks, along with a CV, bio, and artist statement to [email protected]. International artists are eligible. Categories include Craft/Traditional Arts, Photography, Drawing, Film/Video/New Media, Mixed-Media/Multi-Discipline, Painting, and Sculpture.
