NEXT Up 2016

NEXT Gallery presents "NEXT Up," a national open call for 2D and 3D fine art. The gallery seeks original work created between 2014-2016 in all mediums, excluding video and audio. Work must not exceed 4 ft. x 8 ft. for 2D pieces or 2 ft. x 2 ft. x 4 ft. for 3D pieces, with a 50 lb. weight limit for three-dimensional work.

The entry fee is $35.00. Applicants must submit 2-5 images representing their work. The juror will select 25 artists for the exhibition. Awards include a Best of Show Award of $500 and an Honorable Mention of $250. The juror is Ivar Zeile, owner and director of Plus Gallery in Denver. The exhibition runs February 23 – March 10, 2017, with an opening on February 24, 2017.

Eligibility is open to all artists residing in the United States. All work must be original and properly dated. Accepted work must be ready to display with appropriate hanging mechanisms for wall art or installation instructions for 3D work. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and insurance. NEXT Gallery retains a 35% commission on all sales. All accepted work must remain on display throughout the entire exhibition and be available for sale. Notifications of acceptance will be sent via email by February 5, 2017.
