NEXT Up

NEXT Gallery presents "NEXT Up," a national open call for 2D and 3D fine art. The gallery seeks original work created between 2013-2015 in media including oil, acrylic, water media, pastel, pencil, paper, printmaking, photography, digital arts, mixed-media, fiber, metal, and wood.

Jurors will select 25 artists for exhibition in the gallery's 1,700 square foot space. Selected artists will receive a Best of Show Award of $500 and an Honorable Mention of $250. Work must meet size limitations: 2D artwork no larger than 3 ft width x 4 ft height, and 3D work no larger than 2 ft x 2 ft x 4 ft with a maximum weight of 50 lbs. All accepted work must be ready to display and remain on display for the entire exhibition. Wall art must have proper hanging mechanisms (wire with wrapped ends or D rings). All 3D work should include installation instructions.

Entry fee is $35.00. Submit 2-5 images representing your work. Applicants must be U.S. residents. All work must be original and for sale. NEXT Gallery retains a 35% commission on sales. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and insurance. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by January 10, 2016. Exhibition dates are February 5 – March 13, 2016.
