New Hope Art League 5th Annual Juried Show 2014

The New Hope Art League invites artists to submit work for their 5th Annual Juried Show. The exhibition will be held at Rolling Green Barn, Rt. 202 and Aquetong Rd., New Hope, PA 18938.

Eligibility: Artists 18 and older may enter. NHAL accepts paintings, works on paper, mixed media, photography, digital art, and sculpture. Only original artworks created in the last two years are eligible. Works must not have been previously shown in NHAL or other local area shows. No copies, commercially reproduced works, giclees, video, film, jewelry, or fiber art. If artwork is dated, it must be from 5/12 or later. Maximum of two pieces may be entered. Digital images must be 1920 pixels on the longest side, JPG format only, no larger than 3MB. Sculptors may submit one photo per sculpture, which may be a triptych. All works must be for sale.

Entry Fee: $35.00 for non-members; $25.00 for currently paid NHAL members (with discount coupon code). Submissions open March 8. Entry deadline is April 15 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Mailed checks must be received by April 10. Acceptance notification will be emailed and posted on the website May 1. Jurors are Barbara Neibart and Madeleine Kelly. Awards will be given at the jurors' discretion. Delivery of accepted pieces: May 14, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Show opens May 16, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m., with opening reception and awards 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Exhibition runs May 16-25 (Thursday-Sunday, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.), with extended hours May 26 (Memorial Day, open 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.). Unsold works may be picked up May 26, 5 p.m. - 6 p.m., or May 27, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. NHAL retains 25% commission on sales; 10% on portfolio pieces. Payment for sold works will be made within 30 days of exhibit closing. All works must be hand delivered and picked up; no shipping available.
