The exhibition runs January 24 - March 20, 2021, and will run concurrently with the 55th annual NCECA conference in Cincinnati, March 17-20, 2021. Ceramic artists Jessika Edgar and Malcolm Mobutu Smith will serve as jurors.

Eligibility is open to undergraduate, graduate, and post-baccalaureate students enrolled in the United States, Canada, and Mexico who are working towards a degree or are post-baccalaureate in art at the time of submission. Students enrolled at institutions where the jurors currently serve as faculty are not eligible. Entry fee is $30.00 for non-members and free for NCECA members. Applicants may submit up to two works of art with a maximum of two media files per work (four total media files). All works must be primarily ceramic; mixed media works are accepted only when clay is the dominant material. Works must have been realized no longer than two years prior to the entry deadline. All work samples must not include visual representation of the applicant's name. Floor and pedestal works must be self-supporting; wall hanging works must include appropriate hanging systems. Individual objects should weigh less than 100 lbs. and fit through a 36" x 80" entrance door. Larger modular works may be accommodated at the jurors' discretion.

Applications are accepted online only through CaFÉ.
