Nature's Narrative

From the gentle touch of the breeze and soothing ambience of a stream, to the imposing force of oceans, mountain peaks, vast deserts and mighty storms, we are ever in the presence of nature and its profound influence over us. Nature's Narrative invites artists to share their unique portrayal of the many ways the natural world inspires, nurtures, and challenges us—whether through the beauty of landscapes, the diversity of ecosystems, the resilience of wildlife, or the spiritual connections we share. All mediums are accepted that reflect the richness of nature's tale, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, photography, sculpture, digital, fiber, mixed media, 3 dimensional and more.

This is a great opportunity for both emerging and established artists to promote their artwork in a professional gallery as part of a themed exhibition, in a popular tourist destination. The acceptance rate of exhibitions are becoming less than 50%, making it an appealing addition for an artist's C.V. The exhibition runs February 2nd - March 30th, 2026 at Art Scene West Gallery in Seaport Village, San Diego. Artists may enter up to 4 different works per submission with a $25 submission fee. Selected artists pay a $100 participation fee and receive 60% of sales commission.

Size limits are maximum 30" on the longest side for 2D works (including frame), and maximum 16" (H) × 8" (W) × 8" (D) with 45 lbs weight limit for 3D/sculpture. Notification of acceptance occurs between January 10th-12th, with artwork delivery required by January 30th. All works must be original creations available for sale, created within the past 5 years, by artists at least 18 years of age.
