Nature of Pastels

This exhibition is open to all current PSME members. Artists may submit up to 2 paintings per artist, with works required to be 80% pastel. All works must be original, completed within the past three years, and composed from the artist's own conception.

Works must have a width limit of 18" when framed and must be framed to gallery standards using a wire hanger (no sawtooth hangers or plastic frames). PSME recommends artists use glare resistant glass such as Tru Vue AR70. All work must be for sale; no NFS (not for sale) or POR (price on request) is allowed. No price changes or painting substitutions are permitted after registration.

Entry fee for PSME members submitting 2 works is $25. PSME membership must be paid and current for 2024. Submissions must include high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should be cropped to show only the artwork with no visible matting, frames, or background distractions, and must be oriented correctly. Entry deadline is May 1, 2024.
