About This Call
Join the Naturalist Gallery in exploring the art of portraiture. This exhibition aims to showcase diverse interpretations of expression and identity through portraits. Whether classic or contemporary, realistic or abstract, all works of portraiture are eligible for exhibition. If selected, your chosen work will be curated into the Naturalist Gallery Portrait Collection.
This opportunity is open to artists internationally, welcoming all visual art media except video. Artists must be 18 years or older. The entry fee is $30.00. Applicants may submit a minimum of 1 artwork and a maximum of 20 artworks.
Selected artists will have their artwork(s) archived and prominently featured for sale in the Portrait Collection for a minimum of 60 days. Selected works may be included in marketing materials such as videos, articles, email newsletters, and press releases. Artists will be evaluated by a panel of jurors composed of Naturalist Gallery curators. Exhibition dates are January 6, 2026 through March 7, 2026.
