About This Call
The Oil Collection highlights the richness and depth of oil painting as a medium. From layered realism to expressive abstraction, oil offers unmatched flexibility and permanence. This exhibition is dedicated to showcasing the best of contemporary oil-based work, inviting submissions in all genres, from portrait and figure to landscape or abstract and non-representational compositions.
This call is open to artists internationally, welcoming all visual art media except video. Artists must be 18 years or older. Selected artists will have their artwork(s) archived and prominently featured for sale in the Oil Collection for a minimum of 60 days, with potential inclusion in marketing materials such as videos, articles, email newsletters, and press releases. Artists will be evaluated by a panel of jurors composed of Naturalist Gallery curators.
Entry fee: $30.00. Submit 1-20 artworks (up to 20 images, 6 audio files, and 6 video files total). Application deadline: 5/5/25 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Exhibition dates: 5/6/25 - 7/5/25.
