Naturalist Gallery Historical Collection

Naturalist Gallery invites artists to submit works for the Historical Collection exhibition, which explores historical narratives, cultural heritage, and the passage of time. Artists may submit works through classical techniques, modern interpretations of historical themes, or personal reflections on the past or modern times. This call is open internationally to all visual artists 18 years and older. All visual art media except video are allowed.

Selected artists will have their artwork(s) archived and prominently featured for sale in the Historical Collection for a minimum of 60 days. Work may be included in marketing materials such as videos, articles, email newsletters, and press releases. Artists will be evaluated by a panel of jurors composed of Naturalist Gallery curators.

Entry fee is $30.00. Submissions must include a minimum of 1 artwork and a maximum of 20 artworks total, which may consist of up to 20 images, 6 audio files, and 6 video files. Application deadline is March 17, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Exhibition dates are March 18, 2025 through May 17, 2025.
