National Watercolor Society 2025 Member Exhibition: $10,000 in CASH Awards

The National Watercolor Society 2025 Member Exhibition is open to all Active NWS Members. This is an online virtual exhibition running May 1-June 30, 2025, with $10,000 in cash awards to honor NWS Past Presidents: Two $2,000 awards, Two $1,000 awards, Four $500 awards, Four $300 awards, Four $200 awards, and one ScholArtship Award. The juror of selection and awards is Mario A. Robinson.

Artists may enter up to two paintings; only one painting per artist is eligible for acceptance. All entries must be watermedia paintings on natural or synthetic paper, Yupo, Aquabord, or Claybord. Collage is permitted if aqueous medium constitutes 80% or more of the work. Digital media, photography, prints, and reproductions are not permitted. Artwork must have been created after January 1, 2022, and not previously shown in any NWS exhibition. Artists must be 18 years or older and must have paid 2025 NWS membership annual dues prior to entry. Entry fee is $45 for one image or $55 for two images (non-refundable). The entry deadline is February 21, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Accepted artists will be posted to the NWS website on March 20, 2025.

Accepted artwork may not be displayed or offered for sale in another exhibition from May 1-June 30, 2025. NWS retains a 30% commission on exhibition sales and presold paintings. Artwork may be marked $0 or NFS. Permission is granted to reproduce paintings for promotion and educational purposes. Monetary awards remaining unclaimed by December 1, 2025 will be forfeited.
