National Computer Art Juried Exhibition

Dallas Metro Arts Contemporary presents the National Computer Art Juried Exhibition, dedicated to printed art images created using computer or digital practices. This juried competition offers $1500 in cash awards including Juror's Choice, Honorable Mentions, Director's Choice, and People's Choice.

Eligibility: US artists age 18 and up with original artwork from the last three years. Work must be in print format (no time-based, video-based, or device-presented works). Size limit is 48 inches wide by 72 inches tall. All artwork must be suitably presentable and ready for hanging or display. Framed works may have glass or plexiglass and must have suitable hanging wire or D rings (no sawtooth hangers). Alternative display methods require prior approval from the Director. Acceptance of multiple works, diptychs, and triptychs is at the juror's and Director's discretion.

Entry fee: $30 for a minimum of two images, plus $5 for each additional entry up to five maximum. Submission deadline: October 18, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Artists will be notified October 26, 2020. Shipping and hand delivery window: October 26 - November 8, 2020. Exhibition dates: November 19 - December 5, 2020 at the DMAC gallery. Closing reception: Saturday, December 5, 2020, 6:00-7:30 p.m. (artists may pick up artwork at the end of the reception). Juror: Dr. Selena Nawrocki, Professor of Art at Valdosta State University.
