About This Call

Established in 1985, the Riverwalk Fine Art Fair is among the top rated art fairs in the nation. Held annually on the prestigious Riverwalk in Naperville, Illinois, the two day event draws more than 40,000 art conscious citizens from near and far. The show is scheduled for September 19 and 20, 2026, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on both days, with setup on Friday, September 18, from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm.

Participation is open to artists working in painting, drawing, sculpture, fiber, graphics, mixed media, jewelry, photography, pottery, metalwork, glass, wood, and digital art. The fair enforces an "ORIGINALS ONLY" policy with no reproductions allowed. Artists must be present for the duration of the show. Standard booth size is 10 X 12 with booths running along the Riverwalk and adjacent downtown city streets. Tents are required and must be weighted down, not staked.

Application deadline is April 7, 2026, with a late fee deadline of April 16, 2026. Jury fee is $35 ($65 if applying after April 7), and booth fees are $450. Awards include one Best of Show with $1,000 cash prize, four awards of excellence with $500 each, and four merit ribbons with $250 each. Notification of status will be sent by May 15, 2026.
