Napa Valley Open Studios Gallery Exhibition

This gallery exhibition is open to artists who are current paid members of ACNV and live and/or work within Napa County. Eligible artists must create original artwork (not reproductions, commercial art, or hobby/crafts), have a minimum of 10 pieces available for sale each day of the Open Studios, possess a valid city business license if living within city limits, hold a valid state resale license, and have a working email address. Artists participating in the Open Studios Tour must have paid the $300 entry fee.

Submitted artwork must have been completed within the last two years. The jury panel, comprised of art professionals, will conduct blind judging based on four images. Jurors will evaluate whether the body of work demonstrates consistent technical proficiency and understanding of formal elements of art; reflects a coherent individual style and originality; shows creative elements beyond prefabricated materials; and demonstrates professional presentation expected in a gallery setting. Artists must submit a description of their creative processes, which jurors may reference during selection. No critique of the work will be provided.

All selected works must be for sale. ACNV will retain a 25% commission on artwork sold through the exhibition. ACNV will arrange payment collection and artwork shipping to buyers. Unsold artwork will be returned to the artist. A Gallery Consignment Agreement will be provided. The entry fee for this gallery exhibition is $15.00, and four images are required for submission.
