Myths, Legends, and Folklore Exhibition

The theme for this upcoming exhibition, "Myths, Legends, and Folklore," invites artists to delve into the timeless stories, symbols, and characters that define cultural heritage and inspire human imagination. Through art, the exhibition explores how myths and legends shape our understanding of the world, reflect universal truths, and connect us across generations. This theme celebrates the power of storytelling, inviting diverse interpretations of folklore, supernatural tales, ancient heroes, and mythical creatures from cultures around the globe.

Artists may submit up to 3 pieces for consideration. Each submission must include an artist statement (250 words maximum) describing the work and its inspiration, high-resolution images of each artwork (JPEG or PNG format), and title, medium, dimensions, and year created for each piece. Entry fee is $25.00 for 3 works, with an additional $10.00 media fee per image after the first 3. Submissions must include 3-6 total images. Artists must be able to transport or ship artwork to the gallery before January 18th. The entry deadline is December 27, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Contact [email protected] for questions.
