Muskegon Museum of Art 89th Annual Regional All-Michigan Exhibition

The Muskegon Museum of Art invites artists 18 years or older residing in Michigan to submit work for the 89th Annual Regional All-Michigan Exhibition, running September 28 – November 8, 2017. Artists may submit up to two original works completed in the last two years that have not been previously exhibited at the museum. Entry fee is $35 ($20 for MMA members). Commercial reproductions, including giclée prints, are not accepted. Video entries may not be submitted. Traditional print media, photography, and digital art must be from a limited edition.

Two-dimensional pieces may not exceed 6 feet wide by 8 feet high. Three-dimensional pieces may not exceed 8 feet high by 6 feet by 6 feet, and only work easily handled by two people will be accepted. All works must be ready for presentation: hanging works should be framed with wire or D-Rings (sawtooth hangers not permitted), and all works on paper must be framed and glazed. Multiple panel pieces cannot exceed 6 feet wide by 8 feet high when installed. Submit 1-4 digital images through the CaFÉ website (www.callforentry.org). Include title, media, and dimensions with your entry. Incomplete entries will not be juried.

Deadline for entry is July 28, 2017. Artists will be notified of jury results by email no later than August 11, 2017. Hand-delivery of accepted work is September 14-16, 2017 (11AM-7:30PM Thursday, 11AM-4:30PM Friday and Saturday). Shipped work must arrive by Friday, September 15, 2017. All accepted work is eligible for sale through the MMA Store with a 30% commission. Prizes include Best of Show ($1,500), 2nd Place ($1,000), 3rd Place ($750), and additional purchase awards.
