Muskegon Museum of Art 88th Annual Regional All-Michigan Exhibition

The Muskegon Museum of Art invites artists 18 years or older residing in Michigan to submit work for the 88th Annual Regional All-Michigan Exhibition, running May 12 – August 3, 2016. Artists may submit up to two original works completed in the last two years that have not been previously exhibited at the museum. Entry fee is $35 ($20 for MMA members). Commercial reproductions are not accepted, but traditional print media, photography, and digital art from limited editions are eligible. Two-dimensional pieces may not exceed 6 feet wide by 8 feet high; three-dimensional pieces may not exceed 8 feet high by 6 feet by 6 feet. Only work easily handled by two people will be accepted.

Submissions are digital through the CaFÉ website (www.callforentry.org). Artists may submit up to two images per artwork. Digital image files must include the title, media, and dimensions of entries. Incomplete entries will not be juried. The deadline for entry is March 19, 2016. Artists will be notified of jury results by email no later than April 1, 2016.

Accepted work must be ready for presentation: all hanging works should be framed with wire or D-Rings (sawtooth hangers not permitted), and all works on paper must be framed and glazed. Hand-delivery is accepted April 21-23, 2016 (11AM-7:30PM Thursday, 11AM-4:30PM Friday and Saturday). Shipped work must arrive by Friday, April 22, 2016. Prizes include Best of Show ($1,500), 2nd Place ($1,000), and 3rd Place ($750), with additional purchase awards. All accepted work is eligible for sale through the MMA Store with a 30% commission.
