Musings: 18th Annual Photo Competition Exhibition

The Photo Center NW announces Musings: 18th Annual Photo Competition Exhibition, juried by John Bennette. The theme is open and images from a cohesive body of work with an artist statement are encouraged. All photo processes are welcome. Selected entries will be exhibited at the Photo Center in Seattle, WA from August through mid-September 2013.

Entry Requirements: Submit a minimum of 4 images and a maximum of 12 jpgs. The entry fee is $42 for 4 images, with additional images at $7 each. All work must be clearly labeled with photographer's name, title, and price. Work must be professionally framed, wired, and ready to hang. Photographers are responsible for printing, framing, and shipping their work to and from the gallery. Framed work must arrive no later than July 27, 2013. The competition is open to all photographers, including international artists. Payment must be in U.S. Dollars and entry fees are non-refundable.

Awards: First Place: $1,000 cash and $75 Blurb Gift Certificate. Second Place: $500 Glazer's Gift Certificate and $75 Blurb Gift Certificate. Third Place: $250 cash and $75 Blurb Gift Certificate. Accepted artists will be notified by email and telephone, with a list posted on the Photo Center website in late June 2013.
