Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami: Optic Nerve 14

The Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami (MOCA) is seeking film and video submissions for Optic Nerve 14, the museum's fourteenth edition film and video showcase featuring work by emerging national artists and filmmakers. Selected films will be screened at MOCA (770 NE 125th Street, North Miami) on Friday, September 14, 2012. A film will be purchased for the museum's permanent collection.

Submissions must be original material created within the last two years and no longer than 5 minutes (strictly enforced), not exceeding 100 MB. Entries are limited to two per person. Each submission must include a complete application, artist's CV and bio, and a description of the work. Eligibility is open to artists and filmmakers who reside in the U.S.

Entry fee is $10 per entry if received by July 15, 2012 ($5 for MOCA members), or $20 per entry for non-members ($10 for MOCA members) after that date. Final deadline is July 29, 2012, 12 AM Mountain Daylight Time. Submissions will be reviewed by a jury of film and art professionals.
