Mural Project at Foothills PAC in Oneonta, NY

In a collaborative effort between the City of Oneonta and Foothills Performing Arts & Civic Center, we are pooling our resources to transform the Foothills exterior with a big, colorful, exciting mural. We are looking for artwork that is contemporary with bright, bold colors. The project is on a segment of the building that is approximately 2000 square feet. The exterior wall is a textured acrylic material.

Applicants must provide a minimum of 10 samples of their work in either photographs or videos (up to 20 total samples, with up to 6 videos), as well as three references from folks who have either hired or worked closely with them in recent years. Experience with large scale murals is required. NY residency is a plus but not a requirement. This project must be completed by December 31st, 2024.

Entry fee: $5.00. Jury dates: 5/2/24 - 6/1/24. Total project budget: $30,000.
