Mulvane Art Museum Crafts National

Crafts National is a juried exhibition of work by artists exploring clay, fiber/textiles, glass, metal, wood, jewelry, basketry, handmade paper, and mixed media. All work must be original, completely finished, and ready to install. The exhibition runs May 5–August 19, 2012 at the Mulvane Art Museum.

Eligible media include ceramics, glass, metal, fiber/textiles, basketry, jewelry, beadwork, wood, handmade paper, and mixed media. The entry fee is $35 for up to three entries and is non-refundable. Submissions must include 3 to 6 artwork images, which are juried anonymously. The application deadline is January 6, 2012 at midnight MST. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email on February 15, 2012. The deadline for shipping and hand delivery is April 10, 2012.

Artists are responsible for roundtrip shipping and insurance; the Museum provides insurance on-site. A catalog will be available including a list of participating artists, artwork images, and a statement by the juror, Gail M. Brown. The Mulvane Art Museum charges a 30% commission on sales. All works should list their sales price, or if not for sale, indicate the insurance value.
