Mulvane Art Fair 2026

The 32nd annual Mulvane Art Fair will feature more than 85 artists from across the country for a two-day event on the beautiful grounds of Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. This juried fine art event draws thousands of art lovers and has been an annual favorite among artists and art appreciators since 1992. With a focus on quality and variety, proceeds from the event support the mission and programs of the Mulvane Art Museum, which is Topeka's only art museum. The fair has a robust patron program of art buyers who purchased $45,000+ from participating artists in 2025.

All fine art in the following media is eligible: painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, jewelry, fiber, glass, wood, metal, ceramics and mixed media. Works must be original in the primary contracted medium, with work from molds, factory assembly, or other commercial methods not acceptable. Artists must represent their work personally in their booth and all displayed artwork must be available for sale. A 10 ft. square space is provided for each booth, with artists responsible for their own white display tent designed for outdoor use.

The application deadline is February 24, 2026, with a $35 jury fee (waived for 2025 award winners). Booth fees are $275 for single booths, $550 for double booths, or $375 for corner booths. Cash and purchase awards totaling $4,600 will be presented, including a $1,000 Best of Show award. Artist amenities include monetary awards, patron program, meals, booth sitters, water bottles, overnight security, and assistance with move-in/move-out.
