MUGSHOTS: An Exhibition celebrating Ceramics and All Mediums with a Focus on the Face

MUGSHOTS is a group exhibition celebrating ceramics and all mediums with a focus on the face. The competition is open to all 2D and 3D artists, national and international, working in all forms of ceramics, painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. For wall-mounted works, maximum dimensions are 60" tall by 60" wide.

Selected artists will be featured in a group exhibition at Verum Ultimum Art Gallery in Portland, Oregon, with an opening reception. The exhibition will be posted on the gallery website, and one artist may be selected for a featured online blog post interview. All works in the show must be for sale, with the gallery taking a 40 percent commission on sales. Sale price is determined by the artist.

Entry fee is $35.00 for one to three artworks, submitted as digital JPG image files. Artists will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance by email no later than two weeks after the entry deadline (February 10, 2017). Accepted artists will not be charged additional fees. Artists retain all copyrights to their work. By entering, selected artists grant Verum Ultimum Gallery rights to use images on printed materials and the gallery website for promotional purposes only.
