About This Call
The Mudhouse Residency will sponsor two Full Fellowships for the 2026 season. The Full Fellowship Award includes accommodations, studio space, and two meals each day for the two-week duration of the residency at no cost to the artist. The artist is responsible for their own travel to the residency and daily stipend for groceries, art supplies, or excursions outside of the village.
The Full Fellowship is determined by a selection committee based on the merit of the applicants' work. This award is highly competitive; in 2025 it received 400 applications for two awards. Artists are encouraged to apply to both the Full Fellowship Award and the General Application. However, artists who apply for the Full Fellowship Award will not be automatically considered for the General Application, as it is determined by a separate selection committee under different guidelines.
