Mt. Si Artist Guild Small Works Show 2019

Mt. Si Artist Guild invites artists to submit original 2D artwork for the 2019 Small Works Show. Online entry is available June 8 through July 28, with notification of acceptance by August 11. The exhibition runs September 10 through October 6, with an artist's reception on Sunday, September 15, 2-5pm.

Artwork must be framed or gallery-wrapped and measure 154 square inches or less (including framing), with a minimum size of 8" x 10". All painting and drawing media are eligible except photography and computer-generated art. Works must be original 2D pieces created within the past two years and not previously shown at MSAG or Art Gallery of SnoValley. Entry fees are $25 for one piece or $35 for two pieces (limit 2 entries per person). All submitted artwork must be for sale with a suggested minimum price of $150. MSAG retains a 30% commission from sales.

Awards include First Place ($300), Second Place ($200), Third Place ($100), Honorable Mention ($50 gift card), and People's Choice ($50 gift card). Artwork delivery is Sunday, September 8, 10am-2pm. Unsold work must be picked up Sunday, October 6, 10am-2pm. Artists must submit a W-9 form and sign a liability waiver. MSAG suggests artists carry their own insurance on artwork.
