Mt. Si Artist Guild Small Works Show

The Mt. Si Artist Guild Small Works Show is a juried exhibition for 2D original artwork. Online entry is available June 8 through July 27, with a deadline of July 27 at 6pm PST. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email on August 10. The exhibition runs September 11 through October 6, with an artist's reception on Sunday, September 16 from 2-5pm.

Artwork must be framed or unframed 2D originals measuring 154 square inches or less (including framing), with a minimum size of 8" x 10". All painting and drawing media are eligible except photography and computer-generated art. No 3D artwork will be considered. Artwork must have been created within the past two years and must not have been previously shown at MSAG or Art Gallery of SnoValley. All works must be properly finished with appropriate hanging hardware and must include a label with artist name, title, medium, and price. Entry fees are $25 for one piece or $35 for two pieces (limit 2 entries per person). A $10 media fee applies for a second image submission.

Accepted artwork must be delivered on Sunday, September 9 between 10am-2pm. Pickup of unsold work is Sunday, October 7 between 10am-2pm. All artwork must remain in the gallery for the duration of the show. MSAG retains a 30% commission from sales, paying artists 70% of the sale price within 30 days of show close. Awards include First Place ($300), Second Place ($200), Third Place ($100), Honorable Mention ($50 gift card), and People's Choice ($50 gift card). A current W-9 form must be on file to receive payment. Submitted images may be used for promotional purposes; artists retain rights to their work.
