About This Call
The Mt. Si Artist Guild is hosting a juried small works exhibition. Online entry is open January 1 to March 1, 2025, with a deadline of March 1 at 11 PM PST. Artists will be notified of acceptance by March 16. Accepted artwork must be delivered to the Art Gallery of SnoValley (8130 Railroad Ave SE, Snoqualmie, WA 98065) on Saturday, March 29, 2025, between 11 AM and 2 PM. The exhibition runs April 1-30, 2025, with an artist's reception on April 5 from 1-4 PM. Unsold artwork must be picked up on May 3, 2025, between 11 AM and 2 PM.
Eligibility is limited to local artists. The entry fee is $40 for one to three pieces. All artwork must be 2D originals (paintings or drawings only—no photography, computer-generated art, or 3D work) and must measure 164 square inches or less including framing. Work produced in workshops or classes, copies, or derivatives of other artists' work are not eligible. Artwork must be properly finished, wired for hanging, and labeled with artist name, title, medium, and price. Unframed gallery-wrapped canvas must have finished sides. In-person delivery is required; shipped artwork will not be accepted.
Awards include First Place ($300), Second Place ($200), Third Place ($150), and three Honorable Mentions ($50 each). The juror is Ned Mueller, AIS and OPA Master. All works submitted must be for sale. MSAG retains a 30% commission from sold works, with proceeds mailed within 30 days of show close. Artists are responsible for shipping costs if a sold piece requires shipping to the buyer. Submitted images may be used for promotional purposes. Artists must sign a Gallery Release form and liability waiver upon delivery. MSAG suggests artists carry their own insurance on artwork.
