Mt. Si Artist Guild Small Works Juried Show (Fall 2024)

The Mt. Si Artist Guild is hosting a juried small works competition. Online entry is open July 1 to September 1, 2024, with a deadline of September 1 at 11 PM PST. Notification of acceptance will be sent September 14. Accepted artwork must be delivered in person on September 28 between 11 AM and 2 PM to the Art Gallery of SnoValley, 8130 Railroad Ave SE, Snoqualmie, WA 98065. The exhibition runs October 1-31, 2024, with an artist's reception on October 5 from 1-4 PM. Artwork pickup is November 2 between 11 AM and 2 PM.

Entry fee is $40 for one to three pieces. Artists may submit 1-3 images (JPEG or JPG format, 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side, under 5 MB). All artwork must be 2D originals measuring 154 square inches or less including framing. Eligible media includes paintings and drawings; photography, computer-generated art, and 3D artwork are not accepted. Work produced in workshops or classes, copies, or derivatives of other artists' work are not eligible. All artwork must be properly finished, wired for hanging, and labeled with artist name, title, medium, and price. Unframed gallery-wrapped canvas must have finished sides. No wet artwork or shipped artwork will be accepted.

Awards include First Place ($300), Second Place ($200), Third Place ($150), and three Honorable Mentions ($50 each). All works should be priced for sale; MSAG retains a 30% commission from sold pieces. Artists are responsible for their own insurance. By submitting an entry, artists agree to the terms of the prospectus and hold MSAG and the Art Gallery of SnoValley harmless for any loss or damage. The juror is Charlene Collins Freeman, a full-time artist and teaching artist with expertise in watercolor, drawing, and art education.
