Mt. Si Artist Guild 2023 Small Works Juried Show

Mt. Si Artist Guild is hosting a juried small works exhibition. Online entry is available from March 1 to April 30, 2023, with a deadline of April 30 at 11:59 p.m. PST. The entry fee is $35 for one to three pieces. Artists should submit 1-3 images in JPEG or JPG format, with file dimensions of 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side and file size under 5 MB.

Final framed artwork must measure 154 square inches or less, including framing, with a minimum size of 8" x 8". All paintings and drawings media are eligible except photography and computer-generated art. No 3D artwork will be considered. All works must be 2D originals created in the past two years and not previously shown in an MSAG exhibition. Work produced in workshops or classes, copies, or derivatives of other artists' work are not accepted. Artwork must be properly finished, wired for hanging, and labeled with the artist's name, title, medium, and price. No wet artwork or shipped pieces will be accepted; in-person delivery is required.

Accepted artists will be notified by May 6. Artwork delivery is scheduled for Saturday, May 27, 2023, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at Art Gallery of SnoValley, 8130 Railroad Ave SE, Snoqualmie, WA 98065. The exhibition runs June 1-30, with an artist's reception on June 10 from 1-4 p.m. Unsold artwork must be picked up on July 2, 2023, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. MSAG retains a 30% commission from all works sold. Awards include Best of Show ($500), First Place ($300), Second Place ($200), Third Place ($150), two Honorable Mentions ($100 each), and two Gallery Awards ($50 each). The juror is Kay Barnes, CWA, NWWS.
