Mountaintop Art and Craft Show August 2025

The Mountaintop Art and Craft Show is a premier outdoor event held annually in the beautiful mountain town of Highlands, NC. Known for its high-quality, original, and traditional artwork, the event draws hundreds of visitors and loyal customers year after year. This two-day event takes place on August 24 & 25, 2025 from 10-5pm Saturday and 10-4pm Sunday, rain or shine. Show categories include fine art, woodworking, jewelry, metal, pottery, fabric art, baskets, glass, and more.

The show is sponsored and produced by Mountaintop Rotary Club of Highlands NC, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, with proceeds supporting local and international causes. All booths are minimum 10x10 spaces priced at $200 per booth, with $25 additional for premium locations. Exhibitors must bring their own white tents to fit the spaces, and a double space may be requested. The outdoor show takes place in a park with both paved and grassy areas, a stage, public restrooms, and WiFi available for credit card transactions.

This is a show for individual artists featuring only original, handcrafted work created and exhibited by the approved artist. Kits, imports and mass-produced items are not tolerated. Applications are reviewed beginning July 25, 2025 through August 8, with an average of 200 applications submitted and 100 artists selected. All exhibitors must be present during the entire show and are responsible for collecting NC Sales tax of 6.75%. Setup takes place Friday afternoon before the show, with vehicles required to be moved out of the park by 8am Saturday.
