About This Call
The 50th Annual Fall Mountain Heritage Arts & Crafts Festival will be held September 25-27, 2026 at Jefferson County, WV Fairgrounds in Kearneysville. The festival features approximately 160+ carefully selected and prejudged artisans in categories including Art Glass, Baskets, Bath & Body Products, Candles, Clothing & Accessories, Decorative Painting/Folk Art, Dolls & Doll Accessories, Dried Flowers/Herbal Products, Food Tasting & Packaged Goods, Furniture, Gourds, Graphic Fine Arts, Jewelry, Knives & Hunting Accessories, Leather, Metals, Mixed Media, Musical Instruments, Photography, Pottery, Quilts/Quilted Items, Rugs, Toys & Stuffed Animals, and Wood Accessories. The festival has been awarded Sunshine Artist Top 200 Best Shows in America from 2017-2025.
Participation is open to all handmade fine arts and crafts. All work must be of original concept executed and designed by the artist in attendance. No work made with commercial kits, molds, patterns, plans, or prefabricated pieces is allowed. No retail vendors are permitted. The application fee is $30. Booth fees are based on size and location starting at $400+. Applicants must submit 4-5 digital images of work, 1-2 images of booth display, and an artist statement. Images should be high resolution and include prices. The first jury deadline is May 30, 2026, with a final deadline of September 4, 2026. Jury will remain open until full. If you participated in the 2025 show, you are not required to apply for 2026 as you were juried live during that show.
Exhibitors must register/check-in on Wednesday or Thursday, September 23-24, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Festival hours are Friday-Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Exhibitors must be present all three days. Booths must be show ready and open promptly at 10:00 a.m. and close no earlier than 5:00 p.m. An artist statement or demonstration (preferred) is required in your booth. Contracts must be received by June 1st with a 50% deposit. Final payment is due by July 1st. Booth/participation fees are refunded only if cancellation is received by July 6. General admission is $10 (advance tickets $5 online) and includes parking, live bands, wine and craft beer tastings, kids activities, and kids bands with free craft workshops. The festival is located less than an hour from DC/Baltimore and Northern VA metropolitan areas.
