Mother's Day Gift Fair 2026

The Mother's Day Gift Fair will take place on Sunday, May 10, 2026, from 10 am to 6 pm outside under the Market Shed and on the grounds of the Grand Rapids Downtown Market. The fair will host 40-80 vendors offering handmade items including art and photography prints, candles, ceramics and pottery, clothing and accessories, flowers and plants, home decor, jewelry, journals, locally made food items, Made in Michigan items, purses and wallets, textiles and linens, scarves and hats, and skincare and bath products. Guests will browse items while enjoying cocktails and mocktails from the outside bar, and can purchase food from Downtown Market eateries.

Booth sizes and pricing are: 8x5 Covered Booth ($75), 8x10 Covered Booth ($100), and 10x10 Uncovered Booth ($100). All 10x10 tents must have tent weights; no ground stakes are allowed. Tents are only permitted for uncovered booths. The Market Shed is a partially covered outdoor space that allows electrical connections for an additional fee. Vendors will be juried on a rolling basis and notified within three weeks of applying. Vendors will be accepted for no more than four Downtown Market Vendor events in 2026 to ensure product variety throughout the season.

Accepted vendors must carry applicable food licenses if selling food products, which must be prepared or packaged in a licensed kitchen. Foods prepared under Cottage Food Law and food for immediate consumption are prohibited. Accepted vendors must provide a liability insurance certificate with required additional insured entities to [email protected] no later than Friday, May 1, 2026.
