Mother's Day Gift Fair 2025

The Mother's Day Gift Fair will take place outside under the Market Shed and on the grounds of the Grand Rapids Downtown Market on Sunday, May 11, 2025 from 10 am to 7 pm. Guests will celebrate Mother's Day by browsing art, jewelry, candles, clothing, housewares and more, while enjoying cocktails and mocktails from the outside bar. The fair can host 80+ vendors offering handmade items - a perfect place to find a gift for mom or a mother-figure in someone's life.

Accepted items include Made in Michigan products, jewelry and accessories, art and photography prints, candles, ceramics and pottery, textiles and linens, plants and terrariums, locally made food items such as jams, jellies, honey, cocktail mixers, and roasted coffee (packaged items only), scarves, hats, purses, skincare and bath products, and clothing items. Foods prepared under Cottage Food Law are prohibited. Food vendors must carry applicable food licenses and food products must be prepared or packaged in a licensed kitchen.

Booth sizes vary with covered and uncovered booths available: 8x5 covered booths ($75, 25 available), 8x10 covered booths ($100, 20 available - sold out), and 10x10 uncovered booths ($100, 40 available). All 10x10 tents must have tent weights as no ground stakes are allowed. Vendors applying will be juried on a rolling basis, with an average of 200 applications submitted and 55 artists selected. Vendors will be accepted for no more than three Downtown Market Vendor events in 2025. Application fee is free and 6 images plus a booth shot are required.
