MOSAIC 2026 Poster Call to Artists

The Cultural Council for Palm Beach County is seeking an original artwork from Palm Beach County-based graphic artists to be used throughout the MOSAIC 2026 celebration and marketing campaign. MOSAIC (Month of Shows, Art, Ideas and Culture) is a month-long celebration held in May that supports cultural tourism and visitation to The Palm Beaches.

The final artwork will be reproduced as a commemorative poster and adapted for marketing and PR across print, digital, video, web, and large-format signage. The artwork must convey the idea of a "mosaic" with parts of several elements coming together to make a whole piece, visually capture the diversity of cultural experiences unique to The Palm Beaches, and may include the Cultural Council's iconic "Shades of Culture" sunglasses. The piece must be developed in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and/or Procreate, with a minimum size of 36" x 24" at 300 dpi resolution, with each graphic in its own layer and packaged in the software it was designed with.

Applicants must submit a brief bio and 5 to 7 images of individual artworks representing their style and technique as jpg files not larger than 5 MB each. The artist must be the sole author and owner of all artwork entered and must reside in Palm Beach County. The Cultural Council's vetting committee will select 2-3 artists for interviews and portfolio review the week of November 3, 2025. One artist will be selected and provided a $5,000 commission contract. Initial concepts are due by November 21, 2025, with final artwork due in early December 2025. The chosen artist will receive promotion through press releases, Council publications, the MOSAIC website, and social media, with opportunities for local media interviews and a featured artist spot at the Cultural Council's HQ during Palm Beach County Open Studios (May 2-3, 2026).
